They have an all-metal construction for applications which require heat resistance and are Zinc Plated for increased resistance to corrosion. The anchors have anti-rotation teeth, which pierce the base plasterboard skin to ensure firm anchorage. All metal construction means the anchors are suitable for the heavier duty tasks such as fixing radiators and wall units. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust that (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the substrate's surface integrity as it is formed. The zinc oxide, if left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, in a way similar to the protection afforded to aluminum and stainless steels by their oxide layers.

FAQs
What is the primary material of these anchors?
The anchors are made of all-metal construction, with a zinc plating for increased corrosion resistance.
What is the purpose of the zinc plating?
Zinc plating prevents oxidation, which extends the lifespan of the anchors by forming a protective barrier.
What type of drive insert is compatible?
These anchors are compatible with Pozi and slotted combination drive inserts.
Are these anchors suitable for heavy-duty applications?
Yes, their all-metal construction makes them suitable for heavier duty tasks such as fixing radiators and wall units.
How do I determine the correct anchor size?
Choose the appropriate size based on the load you're supporting and the thickness of the plasterboard.
What should I do if the anchor spins in the hole?
Ensure the pilot hole is the correct size, if necessary, use a smaller drill bit.
Where can I use these anchors?
These anchors are designed for use in plasterboard.
Troubleshooting
Anchor spins in the hole during installation.
Ensure the pilot hole is the correct size. If necessary, use a smaller drill bit or try a different anchor.
Anchor does not sit flush with the wall.
Check for obstructions in the hole. Ensure you are using the correct size and type of anchor for the application.
The anchor fails to hold the weight.
Verify the weight capacity of the anchor. If the load exceeds the capacity, use a more suitable anchor. Ensure the anchor is installed correctly.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Durable all-metal construction.
Resistant to corrosion due to zinc plating.
Provides a secure hold in plasterboard.
Easy to install with a combination drive insert.
Suitable for heavier duty tasks, such as fixing radiators.
Cons
Requires proper installation to ensure optimal performance.
May require pre-drilling depending on the application.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Preparation: Determine the correct anchor size for your load and plasterboard thickness.
Drilling: Drill a pilot hole in the plasterboard using a drill bit appropriate for the anchor size.
Insertion: Insert the anchor into the hole.
Fixing: Use a screwdriver to tighten the anchor until it is flush with the wall.
Compatibility:
Suitable for use with plasterboard.
Compatible with a combination drive insert.
Care:
Ensure the anchor is properly installed to maximize its load-bearing capacity.
Avoid overloading the anchor beyond its specified weight limit.
