FAQs

Can the box be bolted to the ground?

The box is designed as a freestanding unit, so it does not come with standard pre-drilled holes for floor mounting.

Is the box completely waterproof?

Yes, it is designed with weatherproof materials to protect your parcels from rain and wind.

Can I change the combination on the lock?

Yes, the included combination padlock allows you to set your own personal code at any time.

What is the maximum parcel size?

The box has a 90-litre capacity, but the limiting factor is the size of the top posting slot; check the slot dimensions before expecting oversized boxes to fit.

Does it require assembly?

The unit is designed for a simple setup; little to no complex assembly is required to start using it.

Troubleshooting

Courier cannot fit package through the slot

The slot has fixed dimensions; ensure your frequent deliveries are within standard size limits for the box.

Combination lock is difficult to operate

Ensure the dials are perfectly aligned and clean; use a light lubricant if grit has entered the mechanism.

Box moves during high wind

If placed in an exposed area, consider placing the box against a wall or in a corner to provide additional stability.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Secure delivery system prevents package theft
Weatherproof material protects against harsh outdoor conditions
No installation or wall-fixing required
Keyless combination lock provides convenient access control
Attractive grey wood-effect finish blends with home aesthetics

Cons

Freestanding unit could potentially be moved if not placed carefully
90-litre capacity may not fit oversized furniture or extremely large appliances
Requires manual operation by the delivery courier

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward due to the freestanding design; simply place the box in your desired location. Since it does not require permanent mounting, you can move it between your front door and garage as needed.

Compatibility: It fits most standard courier delivery sizes, but ensure your common parcel dimensions do not exceed the width of the top posting slot.

Care: To maintain the finish and function of the lock, periodically wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth to remove debris. If the combination lock feels stiff over time, applying a light silicone-based lubricant to the shackle can keep the mechanism operating smoothly.
