The Salomon XT-Whisper is primarily designed for soft, muddy, and loose terrains thanks to its specialized Mud Contragrip outsole with aggressive chevron lugs. It excels on trails, dirt paths, and uneven surfaces.
The Quicklace system uses a strong, minimalistic lace with a one-pull tightening mechanism. You pull the lace to achieve a secure fit, then slide a plastic lock down to hold it in place. The excess lace can be tucked into a pocket on the tongue.
The XT-Whisper features a breathable 3D mesh and synthetic upper. While it offers good protection against splashes and light moisture, it is not fully waterproof. For waterproof needs, look for models with GORE-TEX or similar membranes.
Clean them by removing loose dirt, then gently scrubbing with a soft brush, lukewarm water, and mild soap. Air dry them at room temperature, away from direct heat. Do not machine wash.
SensiFit overlays cradle your foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit. This enhances comfort and stability by reducing foot movement inside the shoe.
