Mapei AC 100 is a heat-defying silicone sealant that can withstand temperatures up to 180°C, making it ideal for sealing ovens, fireplaces, and furnaces. It offers a 6-year guarantee and features mold-fighting, user-friendly properties, making it suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. This pure, acetic silicone sealant is highly elastic and resistant to mold thanks to its Bio Block® technology, allowing for movements up to 25%. It boasts strong and durable performance with perfect adhesion, a smooth and elastic finish, and high thermal and chemical resistance. The sealant is also solvent-free, emitting very low environmental emissions, and is suitable for both interior and exterior use. It skins over in just 10 minutes, is waterproof, and offers +/- 25% flexibility. The thermal range is from -40°C to +180°C. It complements and color-coordinates with the Mapei grout range. Ideal for general sealing in bathrooms and kitchens, it adheres well to glass, tiles, sanitary fittings, showers, skirting boards, and floor tiles, providing a flexible joint.
