Troubleshooting

Headlamp does not turn on

Ensure the battery is correctly inserted and charged. Check that the battery contacts are clean. If using AA batteries, ensure they are new and inserted with the correct polarity.

Light flickers or is dim

The battery may be low. Charge the Li-ion battery or replace AA batteries. Ensure battery contacts are clean and the battery is making good connection.

Cannot adjust focus

Ensure the Rapid Focus mechanism is not obstructed. Gently try to move the bezel back and forth. If issues persist, contact customer support.

Magnetic charger not connecting

Ensure the charging port on the headlamp and the magnetic end of the cable are clean and free of debris. Check that the USB power source is active.

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Fully charge the included Li-ion battery using the magnetic charging cable before first use. Connect the magnetic end to the charging port on the headlamp and the USB end to a power source.
  2. Insert the charged Li-ion battery or 2 x AA batteries into the battery compartment, observing correct polarity.
  3. Attach the lamp head to the headband. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

Compatibility:

  • Batteries: Primarily uses a specific Ledlenser Li-ion rechargeable battery. Can also operate with 2 x AA alkaline batteries (not included).
  • Charging: Compatible with standard USB power sources for charging the Li-ion battery.

Care:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charging port is clean and dry before connecting the charger.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Remove batteries if storing for an extended period to prevent leakage.
