While the leather and construction provide good protection against the elements, they are not explicitly marketed as fully waterproof. Use a leather water-repellent spray for added protection.
You can spot clean the interior fabric with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid soaking the lining.
Yes, the OrthoLite footbeds are removable and can be replaced with custom orthotics or fresh inserts if needed.
They feature PrimaLoft insulation, making them suitable for mild to moderate winter temperatures, but they are not specialized snow boots.
Store in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees to help maintain the shape of the leather over time.
Leather requires a break-in period. Wear them for short durations indoors to allow the material to soften and conform to your foot shape.
Remove the OrthoLite insole and air it out separately. If flattened significantly after extensive use, consider replacing it with a new standard insole.
Use a matching leather conditioner or wax to buff out minor surface scuffs and restore the natural finish of the boot.
To ensure your Britton boots remain in peak condition, proper care is essential. Since the upper is made of premium leather, apply a leather protector spray before your first use to guard against stains and moisture. After wearing, wipe away surface dirt with a soft, dry brush to prevent grit from scratching the leather. If the boots become saturated, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to crack or harden. For sizing, the Britton series follows standard UK sizing conventions, so we recommend purchasing your usual fit.
