Setup, Compatibility & Care
These boots are ready to wear straight out of the box. Because they are designed with a generous calf girth, they work best when paired with thicker, moisture-wicking wool socks. To ensure the longevity of your Downpour Insulate Wellingtons, rinse off mud and organic debris after every use with lukewarm water. Allow the boots to air dry naturally in a cool, well-ventilated area—do not place them directly on radiators or near heaters, as extreme heat can cause the natural rubber to crack over time. If the synthetic lining becomes damp, stuff the boots with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain the shape of the shaft.
