Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease. For the best possible results, apply a high-quality primer to your trim or metalwork; this step is essential to improve paint adhesion and achieve the final color depth. Use a high-quality synthetic brush or a short-pile mohair roller to apply thin, even coats, allowing sufficient drying time between layers. For care, avoid harsh chemical cleaners after the paint has fully cured; a simple wipe with a soft, damp cloth is usually sufficient to maintain the finish. Always store the tin in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is sealed tightly to prevent the paint from drying out.
