Rust-Oleum Furniture Paint - Grey

This paint provides a flat matt finish with a classic, smooth, chalky texture.

Priming is generally not required, especially if the surface is clean and properly prepared. However, for very dark or glossy surfaces, a primer might improve coverage and adhesion.

Drying times can vary, but typically it is dry to the touch in about 30 minutes and ready for a second coat in 1 hour. Allow longer drying times in humid or cool conditions.

For enhanced durability and protection, especially on surfaces that experience frequent use, it is recommended to finish with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax or Rust-Oleum Furniture Lacquer once the paint has dried.

This paint is primarily designed for wood and laminate furniture. For metal, a specific metal primer and paint designed for metal surfaces would be more suitable.

Typically, two or more thin coats are recommended to achieve full coverage and the desired chalky effect. The exact number of coats may vary depending on the original color of the furniture and the coverage achieved.

This paint is designed for interior furniture. For outdoor use, a paint specifically formulated for exterior applications and weather resistance would be necessary.
