FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for long-distance outdoor running?
These trainers are primarily designed for high-performance indoor and gym training; they may not provide the necessary arch support for long-distance pavement running.
How should I clean the tonal overlays?
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the overlays to maintain the fabric's finish without causing abrasion.
Can I remove the insoles to add custom orthotics?
Yes, the internal construction allows for the removal of the standard insole to accommodate personalized orthotic inserts.
Do these shoes run true to size?
The trainers follow a standard UK sizing profile with a regular fit; if you are between sizes or prefer extra room for thicker socks, consider this before purchasing.
Are they machine washable?
No, machine washing can damage the adhesive and cushioning structure. Always stick to manual cleaning methods.
Troubleshooting
Feeling tightness across the instep
Loosen the lacing system completely and re-thread to create a custom tension that suits your foot arch.
Slippage during lateral movements
Ensure the shoes are tied securely using a runner's knot to lock the heel in place.
Midsole feeling less responsive over time
Check the rubber outsole for excessive debris accumulation that might alter the distribution of pressure, and clean the soles thoroughly.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent impact protection from the cushioned midsole
- Provides significant lateral stability for training
- Durable traction on indoor surfaces
- Streamlined, professional aesthetic
Cons
- Specific regular-fit design may not suit wide feet
- Limited to indoor/gym performance focus
- Sizing is strict to UK measurements
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your EA7 Infinity Venom Trainers, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Compatibility is best suited for gym environments or indoor fitness centers. For cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dust and debris from the stitched paneling. If the synthetic material requires a deeper clean, wipe gently with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and mild soap, then allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid machine washing or using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can compromise the structural integrity of the cushioning system.
