Care Instructions:
Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for extending the life of your brush and ensuring consistent performance.
- Water-based Paints: Immediately after use, rinse the brush thoroughly with warm water. Work the water through the bristles until all paint residue is removed. Do not use solvents.
- Oil-based Paints: Use mineral spirits or the appropriate solvent recommended by the paint manufacturer to clean the brush. Work the solvent through the bristles, then rinse thoroughly with soap and water.
- After cleaning, reshape the bristles to their original form.
- Store the brush flat or hanging bristles-up in a dry, clean environment. Avoid storing it in a way that will bend or flatten the bristles.
