FAQs
What material is the Evans Drawstring Hoodie made of?
This hoodie is constructed from high-quality polyester, which is known for its durability and resistance to shrinking or stretching.
Is this hoodie suitable for high-intensity exercise?
While it is comfortable, it is primarily designed for casual wear. It may not offer the moisture-wicking properties required for heavy-duty athletic performance.
How does the sizing run?
The hoodie is designed with a tailored fit. We recommend consulting the size guide for a UK 14 to ensure the measurements align with your personal preference for a snug or loose fit.
Can I tumble dry this garment?
It is recommended to air dry to prolong the lifespan of the fabric, but if you must use a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting.
Does the hood stay up well?
Yes, the drawstring feature allows you to cinch the hood for a secure fit, helping it stay in place during windy conditions.
Troubleshooting
Fabric appearing static-prone
Use a light fabric softener during the rinse cycle or a dryer sheet if machine drying on low heat.
Drawstring cord slipping back into the hood
Use a safety pin attached to the end of the cord to guide it back through the eyelet, or tie a small knot at each end of the drawstring to prevent it from sliding out.
Wrinkles from storage
Hang the garment in the bathroom while you take a warm shower; the steam will naturally help release wrinkles from the polyester fabric.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Evans Drawstring Hoodie remains in peak condition, follow these care guidelines:
- Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle using cool water to preserve the fabric fibres.
- Drying: Air dry whenever possible to prevent static build-up and maintain the integrity of the polyester material.
- Ironing: Use a cool iron if necessary, though the fabric's synthetic nature makes it naturally resistant to deep creasing.
- Storage: Hang the hoodie on a padded hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders, or fold it neatly to save space in your dresser.
