It features a water-repellent finish that protects against light rain and drizzle, but it is not a fully waterproof garment.
It is generally recommended to air dry or line dry this garment to preserve the synthetic insulation; please check your specific garment label for final instructions.
The size 9-10 is specifically tailored for children within that age bracket, though it is always best to refer to the Regatta size guide for exact chest and height measurements.
Simply wipe them with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubs, as these can damage the reflective material.
No, the hood is 'grown-on,' meaning it is permanently attached to the jacket for maximum convenience and warmth.
Yes, it is typically machine washable on a gentle, cool cycle.
The jacket is water-repellent, not waterproof. If worn in heavy rain for extended periods, the fabric will eventually saturate; consider using a shell layer over it in severe weather.
Check for fabric stuck in the zipper track. If it remains stiff, lightly rub a pencil lead or a small amount of clear wax on the teeth to help the slider move smoothly.
To keep the Regatta Lofthouse in top condition, follow the manufacturer's care label strictly. Generally, this involves machine washing on a cool, gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid using heavy fabric softeners, as these can compromise the water-repellent coating over time. The jacket is best line-dried to maintain the integrity of the synthetic insulation. Ensure all zippers are closed before washing to prevent damage to the fabric teeth. If the water-repellent finish wears off after multiple washes, a standard spray-on DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment can be reapplied.
