- Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and its base from the packaging.
- Initial Rinse: Before first use, fill the kettle with fresh water, boil it, and then discard the water. Repeat this process twice to clean the interior.
- Placement: Place the kettle base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface near a power outlet. Ensure the power cord is not dangling.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a standard wall socket.
Compatibility
This kettle is designed for use with standard household electrical outlets (typically 220-240V). Ensure your electrical supply matches these requirements.
Care
Regular care helps maintain performance and prolong the kettle's lifespan.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
- Descaling: Limescale buildup can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly (e.g., monthly in hard water areas) using a commercial descaling solution or a natural alternative like white vinegar and water. Follow the descaler's instructions carefully, then rinse thoroughly.
- Interior Cleaning: For general cleaning, simply wipe the inside with a soft sponge after descaling, ensuring no residue is left.
