While made from quick-drying polyester, these shorts are primarily designed for athletic training and casual wear, not dedicated swimwear. They can handle splashes but may not have specific swim liner features.
The product description does not specify the inclusion of pockets. Based on typical athletic short designs focused on minimalism for performance, it is likely they have minimal or no pockets. Info needed: [Confirm pocket presence and type.]
As indicated in the product title, these are 7-inch shorts, referring to the inseam length. This provides good coverage while allowing for freedom of movement.
Refer to The North Face's official sizing chart, typically found on the product page. Measure your waist and compare it to the chart for the most accurate fit recommendation. The elasticated waistband offers some flexibility.
Yes, their durable polyester material, ventilation, and freedom of movement make them suitable for light hiking and trail walking, especially in warmer conditions.
The description states 'Logo print to hem', indicating the logo is screen-printed. To maintain its integrity, avoid direct ironing over the logo.
While this guide specifically features the Grey Polyester version, The North Face 24/7 shorts line often comes in various colors such as Blue and Black. Check product listings for available variants.
Ensure you have selected the correct size based on your waist measurement. If the fit isn't right, consider exchanging for a different size. The 'regular fit' aims for a balanced feel.
While the regular fit and side splits reduce chafing, ensure the shorts are clean and dry before activity. Consider using anti-chafing balm or wearing appropriate athletic underwear if the issue persists.
Polyester can sometimes trap odors. Ensure you wash immediately after use in cold water. Using a sports-specific detergent designed to neutralize odors can also be effective. Air dry thoroughly.
This could be due to residue buildup from detergents or fabric softeners. Try washing with a quarter cup of white vinegar added to the rinse cycle to help strip away residue and restore breathability.
These shorts require no special setup; simply put them on. Their versatile design makes them compatible with a wide range of athletic tops, casual t-shirts, and sneakers. For care, it is recommended to machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh fabric softeners, as these can degrade the polyester fibers and mesh panels. Tumble dry on a low setting or hang dry to preserve the fabric's integrity and shape. Do not iron directly on the logo print. Following these guidelines will help maintain the shorts' performance, appearance, and longevity.
