Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Birkenstock Boston clogs, it is important to follow proper maintenance steps. When first wearing them, do so in short intervals to allow the footbed to adapt to your stride. To clean the suede, use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt and maintain the nap. Avoid submerging the clogs in water, as excessive moisture can damage the cork and adhesive. If the shoes become damp, allow them to air dry slowly away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or heaters, which can cause the materials to warp or crack. Store them in a cool, dry place when not in use.
