Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug carefully in its desired location. Allow it to lay flat for a few days to help it settle and remove any creases from packaging. For initial setup, you may need to place heavy objects on the corners to help flatten it.
Compatibility: This rug is designed for indoor use and is compatible with most floor types. It can be used with underfloor heating, provided the heating system's specifications are compatible with rug materials. It's recommended to use a rug pad (sold separately) to prevent slipping and protect your floors, especially on hard surfaces.
Care: To maintain the rug's appearance and longevity:
- Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly using a suction-only attachment (no beater bar) on a low setting. Avoid vacuuming the fringe if applicable.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Use a mild detergent and water solution for tougher stains, testing in an inconspicuous area first. Do not rub aggressively.
- Rotation: Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.
- Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning, consult a professional rug cleaner experienced with synthetic materials.
