Getting started with your Salomon XT-6 trainers is straightforward, and proper care will extend their lifespan and maintain their performance.
Setup
- Donning: Simply slip your foot into the trainer.
- Lacing: Pull the Quicklace tab firmly to tighten the laces until you achieve a comfortable and secure fit.
- Secure Laces: Tuck the excess lace into the dedicated lace pocket located on the tongue of the shoe to prevent snagging.
Compatibility
- Designed for adults, these trainers are suitable for individuals seeking versatile footwear for walking, urban exploration, and light trail activities.
- They are compatible with various terrains, from smooth city pavements to moderately uneven natural paths.
Care
- Cleaning: Remove any loose dirt or mud using a soft brush. For the GORE-TEX upper and synthetic areas, wipe with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Drying: Always allow your trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid placing them near direct heat sources such as radiators, fireplaces, or in direct sunlight, as high heat can damage the materials and adhesives.
- GORE-TEX Maintenance: To maintain the water repellency of the outer fabric (which can diminish over time), periodically treat the surface with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray specifically designed for footwear.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure they are clean and dry before storing to prevent mildew or material degradation.
