The Gembird KPD-W-02 is a wireless numeric keypad designed for laptop and PC users who frequently work with spreadsheets, accounting, or financial applications and lack a dedicated numpad. Its key benefit is providing the full functionality of a 10-key number pad in a compact, portable design, enhancing productivity for data-intensive tasks. A potential caveat is its reliance on a wireless connection, which may experience interference in certain environments.

The Gembird KPD-W-02 uses one AAA battery (1.5V DC), which is included in the package.
It connects wirelessly using a 2.4GHz radio-channel USB nano receiver. Simply plug the receiver into a USB port on your computer.
While primarily designed for Windows (supporting Windows 10 and 11), it may function as a basic USB HID device on macOS and Linux systems. However, full compatibility is not guaranteed.
If your tablet supports USB OTG (On-The-Go) and can recognize standard USB HID devices, it might work. However, this is not its intended use, and compatibility is not guaranteed.
The dimensions are approximately 140 mm in length, 85 mm in width, and 20 mm in height.
This keypad features 18 standard numeric and function keys. It does not include programmable hotkeys or backlighting.
The net weight of the keypad is approximately 125 grams.
Ensure the AAA battery is correctly inserted and has sufficient charge. Check that the USB receiver is securely plugged into the computer's USB port. Try a different USB port. Ensure the keypad is within the wireless range of the receiver.
Move the USB receiver to a less obstructed USB port, preferably on the front of the computer or closer to the keypad. Reduce interference from other wireless devices like routers or microwaves. Replace the AAA battery if it's low.
Check for any debris or obstructions around the specific keys. If the issue persists, contact customer support as there might be a hardware fault.
Verify that the correct keyboard layout is selected in your operating system's settings. Ensure the keypad is functioning as expected by testing all keys. Restart your computer.
