Setup
- Identify the Cold Water Line: Locate the main cold water supply line entering your home.
- Cut the Pipe: Using a pipe cutter, carefully cut a section of the 22mm compression pipe.
- Install the Inhibitor: Connect the Calmag inhibitor using the compression fittings, ensuring the flow direction is correct (indicated by an arrow on the unit).
- Tighten the Fittings: Tighten the compression fittings securely.
- Check for Leaks: Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks around the fittings. Tighten further if needed.
Compatibility
- Pipe Type: Compatible with 22mm compression pipes only.
- Water Pressure: Suitable for systems up to 12 Bar.
- Water Temperature: Can handle water temperatures up to 80°C.
Care
The Calmag inhibitor is maintenance-free. There are no specific care instructions beyond ensuring the unit remains securely connected and that there are no leaks. A visual inspection every few months is recommended to ensure everything is in good working order.
