Troubleshooting

iPad Pro won't turn on or respond.

Ensure the device is charged by connecting it to power for at least 30 minutes. If it still doesn't respond, perform a force restart by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Wi-Fi connection is unstable or not connecting.

First, try restarting your Wi-Fi router. On your iPad, go to `Settings` > `Wi-Fi`, turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. If the issue persists, tap the `i` next to your network, then `Forget This Network`, and rejoin it. Ensure your iPad's iOS is up to date.

Apps are crashing or performing slowly.

Close background apps by double-pressing the Home button and swiping up on app previews. Check for app updates in the App Store and ensure your iPad's iOS is updated. If the issue persists with a specific app, try deleting and reinstalling it. Low storage can also cause slowdowns, check `Settings` > `General` > `iPad Storage`.

Battery drains quickly.

Go to `Settings` > `Battery` to see which apps are consuming the most power and adjust usage accordingly. Reduce screen brightness, disable 'Background App Refresh' for non-essential apps (`Settings` > `General` > `Background App Refresh`), and turn off unnecessary location services (`Settings` > `Privacy` > `Location Services`).

Touch ID is not working reliably.

Ensure your finger and the Home button are clean and dry. Try re-enrolling your fingerprint in `Settings` > `Touch ID & Passcode`. Make sure your finger covers the entire Home button surface.
