No, this is a single-sided mattress designed to be used with the memory foam layer on top, so there is no need to flip it.
The cover is generally designed to stay on the mattress to maintain its protective properties; please refer to the care label on your specific model for washing instructions.
It is compatible with most bases, but a solid or sprung-slatted base with slats no more than 3 inches apart is recommended for optimal support.
While it can be used after a few hours, we recommend waiting at least 12 to 24 hours for the mattress to fully expand and stabilize.
The aloe vera is infused during the manufacturing process and is intended to last, though its effects may naturally diminish after many years of use.
Ensure the mattress is in a room with a temperature of at least 18 degrees Celsius, as cooler temperatures can slow the expansion of the memory foam. Allow it a full 24-48 hours to recover.
This is a normal characteristic of new memory foam (off-gassing). Ensure the room is well-ventilated for the first 24 hours, and the scent will naturally dissipate.
