Full details

Against the Storm is a dark fantasy city builder where players must rebuild civilization in the face of apocalyptic rains. As the Queen’s Viceroy, you lead a diverse population of humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilization's last survivors. Your goal is to establish a network of settlements, manage their unique needs, and overcome the challenges posed by a hostile environment and never-ending storms. This roguelite city builder offers immense replayability with hundreds of gameplay modifiers and distinct biomes, allowing you to carry forward resources and upgrades from previous expeditions. Each game presents unique challenges, requiring strategic adaptation to changing weather conditions and a careful selection of building blueprints and perks. Balance the needs of your villagers, from housing and culinary preferences to luxuries and recreation, to boost morale and ensure their survival. The game blends core city builder mechanics with roguelite elements, enabling you to build and manage multiple settlements across a large world map while collecting valuable meta-progression resources. You'll face the pressure of the Scorched Queen's demands and the constant threat of Blightstorms, managing your reputation to achieve success in each settlement and embark on new journeys.
