Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Getting the most out of your lipstick involves proper preparation, application, and care.
Setup/Preparation:
- Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate your lips to remove any dry or flaky skin. This creates a smooth canvas for application.
- Hydrate: Apply a thin layer of lip balm to moisturize your lips. Blot off any excess balm with a tissue before applying lipstick to ensure optimal adherence.
Application:
- Direct Application: For a bold and precise look, apply the lipstick directly from the bullet to your lips.
- Soft Effect: For a more diffused or softer stained effect, dab the color onto your lips with your fingertip and gently blend.
- Precision: For maximum precision, especially around the Cupid's bow and lip corners, use a dedicated lip brush to apply the product.
Compatibility:
- This lipstick is generally compatible with most lip primers, lip liners, and glosses. For enhanced wear and definition, it pairs well with MAC's Lip Pencils and Prep + Prime Lip.
Care and Storage:
- Storage: Store your lipstick in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, to prevent melting, drying out, or changes in texture.
- Protection: Always replace the cap tightly after each use. This protects the product from air exposure, dust, and potential contamination.
- Handling: Avoid dropping the lipstick, as the bullet can be fragile and may break or become dislodged from its base.
- Cleaning: If the outside of the tube gets dirty, gently wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
- Shelf Life: Refer to the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on the product packaging. Typically, lipsticks have a shelf life of 24 months after opening. > Info needed: [Exact PAO symbol details if available on packaging]
