Setup, Compatibility & Care

Initial Setup

1. Unpack and Unroll: Carefully remove the rug from its packaging.
2. Reverse-Roll: If the rug has creases from packaging, reverse-roll it tightly with the pile facing outwards.
3. Lay Flat: Place the rug flat at room temperature for approximately 24 hours. This allows the fibers to relax and the rug to lie perfectly flat.
4. Initial Vacuum: Gently vacuum the rug using a floor tool attachment to lift the pile.

Compatibility

• Placement: Suitable for any area of the home, including bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, and offices.
• Flooring: Can be used on various floor types. On polished surfaces or hard floors (e.g., wood, tile, laminate), the use of a rug grip is highly recommended to prevent slipping and ensure stability.
• Dry Conditions: Always ensure the floor beneath the rug is dry before placement.

Ongoing Care

• Regular Vacuuming: Gently vacuum with a floor tool attachment regularly to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using a beater bar, which can damage the pile.
• Restore Pile: Periodically shake the rug gently (if size permits) or brush the pile to restore its appearance and softness.
• Spill Management: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry, white cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can spread the stain.
• Deep Cleaning: For surface shampooing, first test your chosen carpet shampoo on an inconspicuous area. Apply cautiously, ensuring the rug does not get too wet to prevent damage or mildew.
