Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Hotter Glove II shoes last, keep these maintenance tips in mind:
- Initial Wear: If the leather feels slightly snug at first, wear them for short periods around the house to allow the material to naturally stretch and contour to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe away dust and debris with a soft, dry cloth. For leather care, use a neutral leather cream periodically to keep the material supple and prevent cracking.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can dry out and fade the leather.
- Moisture: If the shoes get wet, stuff them with newspaper and let them air dry naturally. Never place leather shoes near a radiator or direct heat source, as this will damage the integrity of the material.
