This bit is made from flexible rubber, meaning that the mouthpiece is soft and kind on the horse's mouth. Perfect for in hand or first ridden. The mouthpiece thickness is 21mm and the cheek height is 65mm. Rubber-covered mouthpieces are often thicker, softer, and more suited to sensitive mouths. Available in mild, flexible rubber or heat-treated to give a tougher rubber with a little stronger action. It is critical that the horse salivates effectively with rubber mouthpiece bits. Stainless steel is utilised for its durability, ease of cleaning, and resistance to rusting.
