The Octagon II Softshell Jacket provides wind and water resistance, and some warmth due to its fabric construction. For very cold weather, it is recommended to layer it over insulating garments like fleece or down.
Machine wash at 30°C with a mild detergent and similar colors. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean. Tumble dry on low or line dry.
It refers to the construction of the fabric, which has three layers bonded together: an outer protective layer, a breathable waterproof membrane in the middle, and an inner lining for comfort and durability. This combination provides excellent weather protection and breathability.
Yes, the description mentions 'Printable Softshell', indicating it is designed to be suitable for custom printing or embroidery. However, always consult with a professional printing service for best results.
The jacket features a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish and a waterproof membrane. It is designed to repel light rain and moisture, keeping you dry in damp conditions. For prolonged heavy downpours, additional waterproof gear may be necessary.
ATL (Advanced Textile Technology) is a durable water-repellent finish that helps water bead up and roll off the fabric's surface, preventing the material from becoming saturated and maintaining its breathability.
The product description does not mention a hood. This model is designed as a jacket with a collar.
Re-apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment to the fabric. Ensure the jacket is clean before application.
This can indicate high humidity or intense activity. Ensure the breathability of the fabric is not compromised by dirt or residue. Wash according to care instructions. Consider if the conditions exceed the jacket's intended breathability rating.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to free any obstruction. Apply a silicone-based lubricant or a wax-based product to the zipper teeth.
Ensure all zippers and closures are fully fastened. Check for any damage to the fabric or membrane that might compromise windproofing.
This jacket requires no setup; it is ready to wear upon purchase. Its compatibility lies in its design as a standalone piece or a mid-layer for cooler conditions.
