Due to the insulating nature of jumbo cord fabric, it may be too warm for those who tend to sleep hot, particularly during the summer.
Yes, it is designed for standard mattresses and features a 30cm deep skirt for a secure fit.
It is not recommended to iron jumbo cord fabric, as the heat can permanently flatten the texture and damage the cord pile.
The primary benefit is superior thermal retention and a soft, textured surface that provides a cozy sleep environment.
Ensure your mattress depth is 30cm or less, and tuck the elasticated edges well underneath the mattress for a smooth, flat surface.
Ensure the mattress is not exceeding the 30cm depth capacity. If it continues to slip, use elasticized sheet straps for extra reinforcement.
Avoid using fabric softeners that can coat the fibers and flatten the corded texture. Air dry the sheet and shake it out to restore the pile.
To set up, ensure the elasticated corners are aligned with your mattress corners, then pull the 30cm skirt down firmly over the sides to ensure a smooth, taut fit. This sheet is compatible with most standard and deep-profile mattresses. For care, wash the sheet on a gentle cycle in your machine using mild detergent. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can affect the pile of the jumbo cord; air drying or using a low-heat setting is recommended to preserve the texture.
