Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your footwear, keep the following tips in mind:
- Break-in Period: Wear the shoes for short walks on flat ground before committing to long, steep hikes to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove caked-on mud after every hike using a soft brush. For deep cleaning, wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking the interior.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not place them directly against heaters or in direct sunlight, as extreme heat can damage the waterproof membrane and adhesives.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry location to prevent mildew growth inside the textile lining.
