Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your trainers last, follow these guidelines for setup and maintenance:
- Breaking In: New leather shoes may feel stiff initially. Wear them for short sessions indoors to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape before high-stakes competition.
- Fit Check: Ensure the size 9.5 fit leaves roughly a thumb's width of space at the toe to prevent jamming during quick stops.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and court dust. Avoid submerging the shoes in water.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the leather to crack or fade over time.
- Maintenance: Periodically check the laces for fraying and replace them to maintain consistent tension.
