Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Setting Time: Pull the crown out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in fully to start the watch.
- Setting Date: (If applicable, though this model focuses on chronograph functions) Pull the crown out to the middle position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Push the crown back in fully.
- Adjusting Bracelet: For optimal comfort, the bracelet may need resizing. This typically involves removing links. It is recommended to have this done by a professional jeweler to avoid damage.
- Chronograph Operation: The top pusher starts and stops the chronograph. The bottom pusher resets the chronograph hands to zero. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in during operation.
Compatibility
This watch is designed as a men's timepiece with a classic and modern appeal, fitting most adult wrists. Its versatile aesthetic makes it compatible with a wide range of personal styles, from business attire to casual wear.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and oils. For the metal bracelet, a soft brush with mild soap and water can be used, ensuring it is thoroughly rinsed and dried afterward. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Water Exposure: While water-resistant to 50m, avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam (e.g., saunas, hot showers), or high-pressure water jets, as this can compromise the seals. Always ensure the crown is pushed in fully before any water contact.
- Battery Replacement: The Quartz movement requires a battery change approximately every 2-3 years. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a certified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.
- Storage: When not in use, store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields, which can affect its accuracy.
