Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Setting the Time and Date: Gently pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch case) outwards to the first position to adjust the date. Turn the crown to set the desired date. Pull the crown to the second position to set the time. Push the crown back in fully once adjustments are complete.
- Bracelet Adjustment: For a comfortable fit, the stainless steel bracelet may require adjustment. This is best done by a professional jeweler or watch repair shop to ensure the links are removed correctly without damaging the bracelet.
Compatibility:
This watch is a standalone analog timepiece. It does not have electronic connectivity and is compatible with standard watch straps if a change is desired (ensure correct lug width is used).
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints and dust. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring no moisture enters the case. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: Although rated for 50m, avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or harsh detergents. After exposure to salt water or chlorine, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use the original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches.
