Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results with Mylands White Hart 51, preparation is key.
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose paint. Lightly sand glossy surfaces to improve adhesion.
- Priming: Always apply a suitable primer to seal the substrate, which helps ensure an even finish and better longevity.
- Application: Use a high-quality synthetic brush or roller. Apply thin, even coats to avoid drips and ensure the 40% sheen develops uniformly.
- Drying: The paint is quick-drying, but allow sufficient time between coats as recommended by environmental conditions.
- Care: Once fully cured, the surface can be cleaned using a soft damp cloth. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners that could damage the satin sheen.
