Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure walls are clean, dry, and sound before installation. Panels are typically cut using a fine-toothed saw. Apply Multipanel's recommended waterproof adhesive to the back of the panel or the wall, following manufacturer instructions. Engage the Hydro-Lock tongue and groove system to connect panels securely. Use appropriate sealant around edges and penetrations (like pipes or shower heads). Black or silver corner and end extrusions are recommended for a clean, professional finish.
Compatibility: These panels are designed for interior bathroom and wet room applications. They are compatible with standard bathroom fixtures and can be installed over existing tile backer boards or directly onto studs (if structural requirements are met). Ensure you use Multipanel's own brand of adhesives and sealants for optimal performance and warranty compliance.
Care: Clean the panels regularly with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage the panel's surface. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Promptly wipe up any spills or condensation to maintain the surface.
