Troubleshooting

Bed frame appears unstable or wobbly.

Ensure all bolts and fixings are securely tightened. Check that the center support leg (if applicable) is correctly positioned and making contact with the floor. Verify the mattress is the correct size and fits snugly within the frame.

Upholstery snagged or damaged.

For minor snags, try to gently tease the fibers back into place with tweezers. For more significant damage, consult professional upholstery repair services. Avoid placing the bed near sharp objects or pets that may cause damage.

Difficulty assembling the bed frame.

Refer to the assembly manual provided with your order. Ensure you have all parts listed. If issues persist, contact Sloomy customer support for assistance or clarification on specific steps.

Squeaking or creaking sounds during movement.

This can sometimes occur if fixings are not fully tightened. Re-check and tighten all bolts. Ensure the mattress is not sliding against the frame; a mattress protector or anti-slip mat can help.

Setup: The Sofia Bed Frame is designed for straightforward assembly. Depending on the chosen configuration (e.g., flatpack), assembly may involve attaching the side rails to the headboard and footboard, and installing the support system for your mattress. Recommended to have two people for easier assembly. Specific instructions will be provided with your order.

Compatibility: This frame is designed to accommodate standard mattress sizes. Ensure you select the correct size during ordering to match your existing or new mattress. It is compatible with most types of mattresses, including memory foam, hybrid, and traditional spring mattresses, provided they are within the specified size.

Care: To maintain the appearance of the upholstered frame, regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment is recommended. For velvet fabrics, brushing in the direction of the pile can help restore its appearance. Always test cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous area first.
