- Placement: Position the lamp on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate clearance around the adjustable arm and shade.
- Connect Power: Plug the lamp's power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Test: Use the inline switch (if present) or wall switch to turn on the lamp and verify functionality.
Compatibility
- Power: Requires a standard household electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches your regional power supply.
- Bulb: Use only the recommended bulb type and maximum wattage to prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance. Refer to the lamp's label or manual for exact specifications.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the lamp, ensure it is unplugged first. Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe down the metal surfaces and shade. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the lamp to prevent build-up, especially around the shade and moving parts.
- Inspecting Cords: Periodically check the power cord for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. If damage is found, discontinue use immediately and seek professional repair.
- Springs & Joints: The spring mechanism is designed for durability. Avoid forcing the arm or shade beyond its natural range of motion to prevent damage to the springs or joints.
