FAQs
Are these shoes waterproof?
The Feathering trainers are designed for breathability and are not classified as waterproof.
Can I use these for long-distance running?
These are lightweight trainers intended for casual wear and light activity; they are not optimized for long-distance athletic running.
How do I determine my size?
These shoes follow standard UK sizing for adults. We recommend choosing your usual shoe size for a snug, performance-oriented fit.
Can the insoles be removed?
Yes, the insoles are typically removable if you wish to swap them for custom orthotics.
What is the best way to clean the blue fabric?
Use a soft brush and a mixture of water and mild detergent, wiping gently to avoid damaging the textile fibers.
Troubleshooting
Feeling discomfort after long wear
Ensure your lacing is not too tight; allow the EVA midsole time to break in and mold to your foot shape.
Loss of traction
Check the outsole for debris or small stones lodged in the treads and clean them with a stiff brush.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Helly Hansen Feathering Trainers maintain their performance, follow these guidelines:
- Fit: Ensure you have selected your correct UK adult size, as the snug performance fit is designed to support the foot directly.
- Maintenance: Remove dirt after each use by brushing the exterior gently. If necessary, use a damp cloth with mild soap; do not submerge in water or use a washing machine as this can degrade the specialized materials.
- Drying: Air dry only in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the EVA midsole foam.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent material breakdown.
