Product Information

Full details

The Grandeco Boutique Pure & Protect Cirrus Wallpaper is ideal for homeowners seeking a sophisticated, understated aesthetic combined with modern health-conscious functionality. Its primary advantage is the innovative integrated antivirus and antibacterial coating that actively neutralizes harmful particles on the surface, making it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas like hallways or family living spaces; however, potential users should note that the woven linen effect is subtle, which may not provide the bold visual impact desired by those looking for high-contrast patterns.

FAQs

Is the antibacterial coating permanent?

The Pure & Protect technology is integrated into the wallpaper surface to provide long-term protection, though efficacy depends on proper care and avoiding abrasive damage.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

While the surface is scrubbable, this wallpaper is generally intended for living areas and hallways; always check the specific moisture resistance rating for high-humidity environments.

Does the linen texture require pattern matching?

The Cirrus range is a semi-plain design, meaning it does not have a complex pattern repeat to match, making it easier to install.

How do I clean the wallpaper without damaging the finish?

Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive tools that could scratch or degrade the protective coating.

Is this wallpaper suitable for high-traffic areas?

Yes, its scrubbable and durable finish makes it ideal for hallways and active family living spaces.

Troubleshooting

Visible seams between wallpaper strips

Ensure the edges are pressed firmly against the wall and that your adhesive is applied evenly to the edges.

Surface marks or scuffs appearing

Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the area; the scrubbable surface is designed to release dirt and minor marks.

Adhesion failure at corners

Use a dedicated wallpaper border adhesive or seam roller to ensure the edges remain securely attached to the wall.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Integrated antibacterial and antivirus surface protection
  • High durability with a scrubbable finish
  • Sophisticated, timeless woven linen aesthetic
  • Suitable for high-traffic areas including hallways

Cons

  • Subtle texture may be too plain for lovers of bold patterns
  • Specific to the beige colour family
  • Requires proper installation to ensure uniform texture alignment

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best results, prepare your wall surfaces by ensuring they are clean, dry, and primed. As a textured wallpaper, it is important to apply even pressure during hanging to maintain the integrity of the woven linen effect.

For maintenance, the scrubbable surface should be wiped down gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scouring pads, as these can compromise the integrity of the Pure & Protect coating. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding adhesive compatibility to ensure the longevity of the installation.
