No, the Cheyenne Upholstered Bed Frame includes a system of sprung wooden slats designed to support your mattress directly.
While possible, it is significantly easier to set the headboard height during the initial assembly process.
The fabric can be maintained by regular light vacuuming with a soft attachment. For spot cleaning, use a damp cloth and blot gently.
The necessary hex key is provided with the frame. You may also find a rubber mallet helpful for seating the slats.
The headboard can be fixed at 105 cm, 110 cm, or 115 cm.
Ensure all bolts are fully tightened and verify that all support legs are making firm contact with the floor.
Check that the wooden slats are properly seated in their plastic caps and that all frame connections are tightened.
Assembly should be performed on a flat, carpeted surface to prevent scratching the carbon steel legs or the velvet upholstery. Ensure all bolts are hand-tightened before using the provided hex key to finalize the tightening process to prevent frame wobbling. The frame is compatible with most standard UK mattress sizes. For maintenance, lightly vacuum the velvet headboard using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris. If you spill liquids, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub the velvet, as this can damage the pile. Periodically check the metal fixings every few months to ensure they remain secure, especially if the bed is moved.
