The Vans Half Cab was Steve Caballero's second signature shoe for Vans, released in 1992. It was created in response to a trend where skaters would cut the collar off their Full Cabs to make their own mid-top version. This iconic black and white colourway features black uppers with white detailing and stitching, finished with a white and gum sole. It includes a PopCush footbed for superior cushioning and increased impact protection, designed to maintain its shape for longer skate sessions. The revised suede uppers offer enhanced durability, with locked-in tongue straps for a secure fit and Duracap tech providing a reinforced rubber underlay for extra longevity. The classic Vans waffle tread has deeper lugs for improved wear, and the new SickStick gum rubber formula delivers the brand's grippiest sole to date. It also features a two-part foxing for heightened board contact and classic Cab detailing.
