Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Using your Apple EarPods (USB-C) is straightforward:
- Locate the USB-C port on your compatible device.
- Plug the USB-C connector of the EarPods firmly into the port.
- Your device should automatically recognize the EarPods, and audio will be routed through them. You can then use the in-line remote for controls.
Compatibility
These EarPods are designed for seamless integration with Apple devices featuring a USB-C port:
- iPhone: Specifically compatible with iPhone 15 and later models.
- iPad: Compatible with iPads that feature a USB-C port (e.g., iPad Air 4th Gen and later, iPad Pro 3rd Gen and later, iPad mini 6th Gen and later).
- Mac: Compatible with Mac models that include USB-C (Thunderbolt 3 or 4) ports.
Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EarPods:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the earpieces and cable with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure no moisture enters the speaker grilles.
- Storage: Store the EarPods in a clean, dry place, ideally in a small pouch, to prevent tangling and damage to the cable or connector.
- Handling: Avoid pulling directly on the cable to unplug them; always grasp the USB-C connector. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures or excessive moisture.
