FAQs

What is the recommended screw diameter?

The fixings are designed for use with screws of 3.5 - 4.2 mm diameter.

Do I need any special tools to install these fixings?

No, a standard screwdriver is all you need.

Can I use these fixings on any type of wall?

These fixings are designed for use on single and double thickness plasterboard walls.

What should I do if the fixing spins in the wall?

Make sure you are using the correct screw. If the plasterboard is damaged, try moving the fixing to a new location.

Can I use these fixings to hang heavy items?

These fixings are best suited for light to medium-weight items. Avoid overloading them.

Why is it important to use the provided screws?

The fixings are designed to work optimally with the provided screws. Using different screws may compromise the holding strength.

What does the flange on the fixing do?

The flange prevents the fixing from being pushed through the plasterboard during installation.

Troubleshooting

Fixing spins in the plasterboard without gripping.

Ensure the correct screw is used. If the plasterboard is damaged, try moving the fixing to a new location. In some cases, you may need to use a different type of fixing appropriate for the condition of your wall.

The fixing is pushed through the plasterboard.

Check that the flange is properly seated. If this continues to be an issue, consider a different fixing.

  • Quick and easy installation.
  • No pre-drilling required, saving time and effort.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup

  1. Position the item you wish to hang against the plasterboard wall.
  2. Align the fixing with the desired location.
  3. Using a standard screwdriver, screw the fixing directly into the plasterboard until the flange sits flush against the surface. Avoid over-tightening.

  5. Tighten the screws until the item is securely fastened.
