The Berghaus Ortler 2.0 trousers are designed for adult males seeking durable, all-season hiking apparel. Their key benefit lies in their 2-way stretch fabric and articulated knees, offering excellent freedom of movement on varied terrain. A potential caveat is their focus on hiking, which may mean they lack some specialized features for extreme weather conditions. These trousers feature a DWR finish, multiple pockets including hand and ventilated thigh pockets, and weigh approximately 340g.

The Berghaus Ortler 2.0 trousers have a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, which makes them water-resistant, not fully waterproof. They will shed light rain but may not withstand prolonged heavy downpours.
Yes, they are suitable for all seasons. For colder conditions, it is recommended to wear a thermal base layer underneath for added insulation.
You can machine wash them on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colours. Avoid using fabric softener. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry.
They are made from a durable twill fabric, primarily polyester, with a 2-way stretch construction.
The trousers weigh approximately 340g.
While not explicitly mentioned, most hiking trousers of this type feature belt loops for adjustable fit. Please refer to product images or detailed specifications if available.
The DWR finish may need reapplication. Follow the instructions on a DWR re-proofing product.
Ensure you have selected the correct size. Check if the articulated knees are sitting correctly on your legs.
Distribute items evenly or consider using a backpack for larger items.
