Giro use their In-Mold construction technology to permanently fuse the tough polycarbonate shell with the protective EPS liner to create a helmet that is more durable, and slimmer, than conventional designs. The lack of depth results in a sleek look with 25 aerodynamically designed vents helping channel air through and over the helmet with the minimum of fuss. In terms of protection, the EPS shell absorbs impacts while the MIPS liner adds a line of defence against rotational forces in the event of an impact. MIPS is scientifically proven to reduce the chance of brain injuries in a crash, and it fits so neatly into the Syntax you won't even know it's there. The best helmet in the world is useless if it doesn't fit properly. Fortunately, the Syntax uses Giro's RocLoc 5 retention system. Giro practically invented modern retention systems and the RocLoc offer simple adjustments to the diameter of the cradle, and the depth it sits at the rear, so you can get a secure, comfortable fit. Anti-microbial padding and slimline buckles and straps complete the high end feel. A seriously high performance helmet for roadies looking for comfort, protection and peace of mind.
