Troubleshooting

Bed frame squeaks or rattles.

Ensure all bolts and fixings are securely tightened. Check that the bed frame is on a level surface. If the issue persists, inspect the slatted base for any loose components.

Difficulty during assembly.

Refer closely to the assembly manual and ensure all parts are correctly identified before beginning. Watch any available assembly videos from the manufacturer. If parts appear to be missing or damaged, contact customer support.

Upholstery appears faded or dirty.

Gently vacuum the fabric with an upholstery attachment. For stains, use a recommended upholstery cleaner, testing in a hidden spot first. Follow specific care instructions for the chosen fabric type (e.g., velvet).

Mattress does not fit properly.

Verify that the mattress size matches the bed frame size purchased. Ensure the mattress is placed centrally on the slatted base. Some settling may occur after initial placement.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Sofia Gold Naples Bed Frame is designed for easy assembly. It typically arrives as a flatpack upholstered frame. Follow the provided step-by-step instructions carefully. We recommend having two people for assembly, especially when lifting and aligning larger components. Ensure all fixings are tightened securely but avoid over-tightening.

Compatibility: This bed frame is compatible with standard UK mattress sizes. Ensure you select the correct mattress size to match the frame you have purchased (e.g., Single, Double, King). A slatted base is integrated to provide optimal mattress support and airflow.

Care: To maintain the upholstered finish, regularly dust with a soft, dry cloth. For spills or stains, use a mild fabric cleaner specifically designed for upholstery. Test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric. For fabric types like velvet, regular brushing with a upholstery brush can help maintain the pile and prevent crushing.
