Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and any loose material. For previously painted surfaces, lightly abrade to ensure adhesion. For unpainted wood, a light sanding may be beneficial.
- Stir Thoroughly: Before and during use, stir the paint well to ensure a consistent colour and texture.
- Application: Apply using a good quality synthetic brush or roller. For best results, apply in thin, even coats.
Compatibility:
This paint is recommended for:
- Interior walls and ceilings
- Wooden furniture
- Interior woodwork (skirting boards, door frames)
- Wooden floors (requires a durable topcoat for high-traffic areas)
- Kitchen cupboards
- Metal (ensure it's clean and free from rust; may require a suitable metal primer if rust is present)
- Powder-coated radiators (ensure they are clean and cool before painting)
- Interior uPVC
- Ceramic wall tiles (ensure they are clean and degreased; may benefit from a tile primer for maximum adhesion).
Care:
Once fully cured (allow 7-14 days), the paint is highly scrubbable. Clean spills and marks gently with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the matte finish.
