Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Getting started with your On Running Cloudtilt sneakers is straightforward:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove your new shoes from their packaging.
- Putting On: Slide your foot into the shoe. The smart sock construction is designed to make this process smooth and easy.
- Adjusting Speed Laces: Pull the speed laces gently to your desired snugness. The system allows for quick tightening. Ensure the fit is comfortable and secure, not too tight or too loose, to accommodate all-day wear. There's no need to tie traditional knots.
Compatibility
These sneakers are primarily designed for all-day movement and everyday comfort. They are ideal for:
- Walking and light activity
- Daily commutes
- Standing for extended periods
- Casual wear and urban exploration
While highly comfortable, they are not intended as specialized performance running shoes for high-mileage training or competitive races. Their 7mm heel-to-toe drop is a standard measurement that supports a natural foot strike.
Product Care
To ensure the longevity and maintain the appearance of your Cloudtilt sneakers:
- Cleaning: For the 100% recycled textile upper, we recommend spot cleaning with a soft brush or cloth, warm water, and a mild soap. Gently scrub soiled areas. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Always allow your shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Machine washing is not recommended as it can compromise the shoe's structure and materials.
