The Under Armour Charged Edge training shoes are designed for active men who need a versatile footwear solution for both gym workouts and everyday activities. Featuring signature Charged Cushioning for superior impact protection and a breathable mesh upper with durable leather overlays, these trainers provide an excellent balance of comfort and lockdown support. While they are highly effective for general training, users should note that the leather overlays may require a brief break-in period to achieve maximum flexibility.

While they provide impact protection, they are optimized for training and gym environments rather than long-distance outdoor running.
The Charged Cushioning is designed for energy return and comfort, which may feel too soft for maximal effort powerlifting compared to flat, hard-soled shoes.
These shoes follow standard UK athletic sizing; if you typically wear a UK 8 in Under Armour, select the same size.
The upper consists of a combination of lightweight, breathable mesh and supportive leather overlays.
Yes, the insoles can typically be removed if you need to insert your own custom orthotics.
Loosen the lacing system completely and re-lace with less tension to accommodate foot swelling during exercise.
Ensure the outsoles are free from debris or dust buildup; wipe the soles with a damp cloth to restore grip.
Utilize the top eyelet of the shoe to create a runner's loop, which provides a more secure lockdown around the ankle.
To ensure your Under Armour Charged Edge shoes last, avoid machine washing or drying them, as this can degrade the leather and cushioning materials. Instead, wipe away surface dirt with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. For tough stains on the mesh, use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the area. Air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the materials from cracking or warping. For optimal comfort, ensure you choose your standard UK sizing, as the fit is consistent with typical athletic footwear standards.
