The '15000' rating indicates it can withstand a hydrostatic head of 15,000mm of water and allows 15,000g of water vapor to pass through per square meter in 24 hours, ensuring good protection from rain and comfort during activity.

The jacket provides a waterproof and windproof shell with some lining for comfort. For very cold weather, you would need to layer insulating clothing underneath. It is not designed as an insulated winter coat on its own.

The hood has drawcords that can be tightened to secure it against the wind. The waistband has an inner drawcord, typically accessed from inside the jacket pockets, which can be pulled to adjust the fit around your waist.

Yes, the jacket can be machine washed at 40°C using a mild, non-biological liquid detergent. Avoid using biological detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as these can damage the fabric's performance.

It is recommended to re-proof your jacket when you notice water is no longer beading on the surface or after several washes. This helps maintain the durable water repellent (DWR) finish and optimal waterproof performance.

The main outer fabric is 62% polyester and 38% polyester (110 gsm). The lining is 100% polyester taffeta (60 gsm), and the jersey lining fabric is 70% polyester and 30% polyester (130 gsm).
